Anyone noticed feedback in audio system?

I have a Limited without nav and noticed that I get some audio feedback from the speakers - I notice it most around 2000 RPM and it is directly related to the engine reving (it is a high pitch noise that matches the revs) - easier to hear during talk vs music and when the volume is low or using bluetooth. The noise goes away if I turn the radio off.

I had a similar problem with a car I had in high school and it was related to poorly insulated RCA cables and a cheap audio converter that I used when replacing the factory head unit - I replaced with better items and it went away. Does anyone else have this problem? - if so, has anyone asked the dealer to look into it?

AM only or FM too?

I mainly listen to XM and I have not experienced this.

I don't have this issue. You should take it to the dealer since it's not normal.

Both - It happens anytime the audio system is turned on - AM, FM, XM, IPOD, Streaming Audio, Bluetooth - all of them

That's called 'alternator whine'. It typically occurs when you have some sort of ground loop happening somewhere, such as when your headunit has some external device plugged into it, and both your headunit and the external device have different grounding wires plugged into different places. Sounds like your XM unit (which I think is an external box) might be the culprit. Might have a bad ground wire? Like folks said, take it to the dealer. If no one else is hearing any alternator whine, then something must be up with yours.

Thanks for the info - I will be sure to mention that to them when I take it in - I am going to wait until the first oil change and then give them the list of things they need to take care of!!
