I've dipped my runner twice, so I'm also the one with the red 4Runner. I love the stuff because I don't worry about pinstripes and its easy to maintain. NYC-Runner wheels more and can also vouch for how durable the dip is. Here are some pics of our rides dipped.

Awesome, looks really good!! I'm thinking about doing mine white..How many coats did yours take? I was told i should do 5 coats, but i thought that sounded like a ton lol
And what was the cost of said dipping?
I know 5 gallons of white is about $250..so if you have a sprayer, it's pretty cheap. Unfortunately I'll need to buy a sprayer and a lot of tape lol
I went with the sprayer from DYC.com and also used 5 gallons, however it seems 4 gallons would have been good. I went with lighter coats and managed to get around 8 coats and still had dip left over. Its not too bad, but I suggest having an extra set of hands to help you out, that way you're not tripping over the cord and can finish much faster.
Don't cheap out and use 3, because you'll want to jump off a cliff when you try to take it off. I had bad experience with not enough coats on my original wheels and don't ever want to do that again. The more coats the easier it is to remove.

I'm glad you told me that, because i'm a cheapo and would probably try to get away with 3 coats haha...I appreciate your help!!
Apparently the more coats you use, the easier it is to peel off...If you only used 1 or 2 coats, good luck :-/
Here's an image to show how durable this is. I got some damage on the trail by hitting a tree.
[MENTION=142678]grave[/MENTION] If you have trouble removing it because it comes off in small pieces, use a microfiber cloth to rub it off. If you still have trouble then just spray some black magic tire wet, let it sit for 5 minutes and repeat for 2 more coats. After the 2nd or 3rd coat hit it with a pressure washer and it will come right off.

Same happened to [MENTION=66624]KCcarguy[/MENTION]... he bashed in both rear quarter panels on trees and it didn't even tear the dip! Incredible stuff!

well, it was a b*tch to get off, but i got it. the 5yo single coat had gotten pretty roached and had to be scraped off bit by bit. i tried the microfiber cloth with just some elbow grease and that wasn't quite working, so i grabbed a cutoff piece of walnut that i had from a cabinet i made, put the microfiber over it, and used that to scrape it off. took almost an hour to get it all off of my nissan, frontier, and SE rear emblems.
