Anyone recognize this bolt from inside the rear hatch?

Recently noticed a rattle inside my rear hatch when opening and closing - tried to peek in there a few times by popping out the plastic handles built into the underside of the door and finally after a few days of driving around, this fell out when I pulled off one of the handles.

Does anyone who has been inside the rear hatch before know exactly what this came off of?

As far as I can tell, everything is working fine back there. Depending on what this is from and how challenging it is to access it, I will decide whether I make the time to deal with it myself or have Toyota mess around in there to fix it (which is never the ideal plan no matter how simple).

Thanks in advance.

I believe that is one of the bolts that holds the rear Toyota trim piece onto the rear hatch. I saw a youtube video where an owner was saying that this same looking nut had fallen off inside the tailgate and that was what he tracked it back to

Not 100% sure - but I think that's one of the rear garnish nuts (the plastic "TOYOTA" emblem and rear-hatch key)... Likely nothing to worry about.

Ah ok, thanks. I'll give it a wiggle and see if I can confirm

Awesome thanks for the info - I'll see if I can find some info on the parts list and whatnot, maybe just pop off the panel when I have some spare time and thread it back on there with some loctite.
