Anyone run Akebono pads??

I just ordered a set of Akebono Ultra Premium Ceramic front pads for my 05' Runner. Wondering if anyone is/has run these before, as I have no experience with them. I got a good deal on them, and seem to be "upper tier" brake pads I guess. Only concerns are excessive brake dust and fast rotor wear. Returning them isn't a problem if anyone doesn't recommend them or if they know of any that are better. Any thoughts?

I've run nothing but Akebono on my '99 since '04 and I got about 45k from my first set and I love the minimal brakedust buildup (new it will build up fast once or twice) and have been very rotor friendly and I have no warpage.

Yep, used the Pro ACT on my old Accord and my wifes G6. Definately liked them!

i can't be real specific as to which akebono pads i had on my forester but they were great!!!

if i remember correctly they were ceramic or at least semi-ceramic.

very little brake dust.

unfortunately, i don't have that car anymore
