Last year, my exhaust needed a complete overhaul due to me taking a group trip and getting in a little over my head on a trail my (at the time) stock rig probably shouldn't have been on.
Anyway, I asked about a a 50 or 70 series at the time and the exhaust shop said it would be too loud for my liking. They recommended a generic muffler and I was in a rush to get it taken care of. It was fine at first, but it's pretty clear a year later that I bought a cheap piece of crap. It sounds like the welds on the baffles are broken, so when you give it a tiny bit of gas, it starts rattling. Also, the resonation is KILLING me. I'm not looking to go back to stock, but I do want to keep the noise down to a reasonable level. I've been searching and everyone seems to be recommending the 50 series, but I feel like it may be a little too aggressive for me (I saw the demo video on youtube of the urban runner with the 50 series and it sounded a little ricey). If you have the 50 or 70 series on a V6, what are your thoughts?
