Anyone running the "new" OME Sport shocks?

I don't have any experience with this system yet, but it is the one I intend to install into my runner as soon as I can find the time.

I really like the Radflo setup OW has on offer, but the cost is prohibitive to me at the present time. I figure the OME sport setup is an amazing value and something that will do well for me over for the next year or two until I finally decide on something different.

I'd like to hear from anyone with this setup as well. I hear the ride is different, but that it's overall a more durable and long lasting setup than the previous OME nitrochargers. That's just what I hear on random sites tho.

Yeah, I've researched just about every lift option under the sun (spacers, Coilovers [ICON, Toytec, Camburg, etc.], OME, etc.) for the past two years and I think the OME is what I am leaning towards. The Toytec unltimate lift with the CO's is tempting and I know quite a few people running that setup, but it's still a little bit more money than OME and would prefer a traditional (separate spring and shock) setup up front.

From all of the research I've done, it sounds like the OME is the best balance of ride quality (on and off road), value, durability, and ride height. All of the pics I've seen with people running OME on a 4th gen looks perfect to me. Some of the CO setups seem to ride too high in the front (even though I know they are adjustable) and it just seems like overkill to me. Not to mention, I'm not a big fan of "rebuildable" shocks in general. I'd rather get a good amount of miles out of a standard shock then replace them when I need new ones. You don't save that much money to have them rebuilt when you include parts, shipping (if you don't do it yourself, and I have no interest in doing it myself) and labor. Plus, my 4Runner is my daily driver so I can't afford to be without my car while I'm waiting for my shocks to be rebuilt.

Anyway, I'm curious about the new sport OME shocks because I've read a lot of good things about the standard ones. I wonder what the difference is.

I know from the OME literature ARB sent me that they're much refined and have improved valving. They're also more durable because of the new design and fluid.

Yeah i have them, i responded to T4RSpectreSix's thread about them, but yeah i like them, no problems. They felt way stiff at first, but its because the stock set up is wayyyyy too soft. I dont mind the truck like ride its how its supposed to feel. it recovers way quick over bumps, and i like how they handle on the trails so far. havent had a chance to really wheel them.
