I found a set locally but they have 265/65r17's. Seems like most are running. 265/70R17 on stock suspensions. Anyone ever run 265/65R17's with these wheels? Any pictures? I have the standard 16" split 3 spokes with 265/70R16's currently. Will that be the same overall diameter?

I still love the Hyper Silver which is the rarest color. Plain silver is boring & the Charcoal is ok. I couldn't find 4 mint condition Hyper Silver for a good price. There are refurbished ones on E-Bay but they want too much.
I ended up getting new take off TE wheels for $400.

I think these may be among the best new OEM wheel choices. I loved my Tundra split spoke 17"s, but after 5 years, it was time for a change.
These and the black or gunmetal TRD Pro wheels are probably the best looking.
They look great on your rig, as does the Priest sticker!

Yes no problem. I have them with Grapplers. The Grapplers hit the UCA and frame on tight turns.
I may have to pick up some wheel adapters. I hesitate to do that because of the change in the geometry, the additional stress on the LBJ and the potential for failure. I just completed a 6-day trip, short of 600 miles mostly off-road with this wheel/tire combo and didn't have any problems without the adpaters. I'm just aware of the frame rub.
These are the Contura Mud Flaps. SR5 flaps are similar. I've had to take a dremel to them. They still hit sometimes when flexing.
Under normal driving it's doubtful you'll bang up against the UCA as much as being off-road. These are the after market Light Racing SPC UCA's.
Both the driver's side and passenger's side of the frame looks like this. It's the tire rubbing pretty hard during tight turns. A more aggressive tire on the Sequoia without wheel adapters and you'll get this same rub.

Here you go. Sanding them down and repainting was not all that difficult. Just took a few days as I did not have a backup set to drive on. Just went slow, took my time to get them very smooth. All Duplicolor: 3 coats of self etching primer, three coats of Gunmetal Grey, and three coats of their wheel clear coat/protectant. I get complements on them all the time. Though they look a lot darker in the pictures than they are???

Hey guys! After reading I wanted to try to get a clear answer! I am moving to a 17" for the TBU after running 33x12.50r15 on -33 offset wheels. My question to you is, with a 295/70R17 on the Sequoia 17" wheel or an (FJ steelie), what kind of rubbing would I encounter?
For reference:
-Uniball UCA's are on the truck and I have had no problem with a 12.50 wife on the right amount of offset, no rubbing anywhere.
I definitely would like a moderately taller, and more narrow tire!

I could be wrong, but I believe they are 17x7.5 with +15mm offset.
I found some Tacoma wheels 2 months ago and after a month of cleaning and deciding on tire sizes, i finally had them mounted yesterday and i couldn't be more happier. Thanks to everyone who gave me their opinion on the tire sizes and how they have worked out for them. I ended up going with a Michelin 265/70/17. Next will be the Tundra Brake Upgrade. Once i have a chance to clean her up, i will get some better pics. This was a quick phone pic after cleaning the blue off white letters and before the rain came. Thanks to 4BUMR for the tire info about his size.
