anyone sold their running boards?

I had mine on craigslist for 6 months. Started off asking 80 bucks for them. Ended up asking for a 12 pack of Shiner. The guy who ended up getting them said he would not buy beer so I sold them to him for $40. I was just happy to get them out of my garage.

Took me 2 weeks to sell mine on CL. I think I was asking $140 and took $120. I've noticed that there are still other ads which have been on CL for months at a lower price.

I had my running boards and all of my stock front and rear suspension up for sale for almost a year!

Finally got sick of them being in the way in the garage and ended up throwing all of it in the trash.

Wish I could have made money on some of it

sold mine off my 96 awhile back on ebay for $240 shipped after shipping and fees ended up being $180 not a bad deal

Exactly my thoughts. I told him I only wanted a 12 pack but he said he just wanted to give me cash so I told him $40.

More than likely he was just a person that the extra $20 or so was worth it to not have to go to the store, buy beer and then come back with it.

Listed mine last night, hoping to get $100 for them, but I'd honestly take 20 bucks and call it a deal.

I had them up for $70 and had a buyer, but I had to keep them because I was getting yelled at for my 4runner being too high and nothing for my Fiance to step up on. I'm keeping them in the garage until I can get some sliders. Although I may put them up for $100 and see if that can help with the sliders fund.
