I'm out with the wife at a local establishment that has over 100 beers on tap. We get onto the topic of Yuengling beer and how I've heard its fantastic....BUT being in the Midwest we don't get it here. I call up another forum member here (huskerz) and he says its fantastic too. So to onto my question, anyone that can buy Yuengling beer locally would you be willing to ship a 6 pack or 12 pack to a fellow t4r'er? I'd PayPal you the money in advance of course. Let me know!

It's nothing to brag about but that's me. I am actually shocked you can't get it where you live. What other beers do they have at this 100 beer establishment?

As a yuengling drinker I would absolutely do this for you. I see you're in Kansas, I'm surprised they don't have it there. We have it in Colorado. PM me your paypal and I'll send you a bill. I can get a 12 pack and wrap each bottle individually. I have plenty of packing material from moving last month. I could probably get it out in the mail on Monday.

Ask for "Arrogant Bas**** Ale" It is the BEST hands down. It's a CA beer. It has an ogre with horns on the bottle. The bottle is actually just as good as the beer

I'd be asking for a ride home!!!!!! Anyone hear of Cable Car Lager? Only sold at BevMo. Best beer I've ever had. It got really cruddy reviews tho..... Anyway they ran out and don't sell it anymore.

It's absolutely average at best, typical American style dark lager. Watery with little to no nose, good session beer for a BBQ or party's though.

Yuengling Lager


I live in VA, where Yuengling is rather plentiful. It is handled by the local Miller distributor and can be found at Costco, Kroger, Food Lion, Martin's (Giant) and even Wal-Mart.

The best price on a case would be from Costco ($16, if I recall correctly); but shipping something like that is not going to be cheap or without risk.

I love Yuengling and every time I take a trip somewhere that sells it, I always bring some home. Our last trip to Nashville yielded about a dozen 12 packs. Now, having tried the Light version and canned version, I still love the original in the bottle best. It seems to be getting much more expensive than I remember it being, but its still worth it to me when I can get it.

Ohio just got Yuengling this past October.

It's priced in line with Budweiser. I'd definitely call it a session lager and it beats the pants off most of the "economy" beers.

I'll stick with Coors Original though for cheap drankin.

I'm actually a fan of coors light for cheaper beer as well. We went on a brewery tour in Golden, Co last year as well, pretty neat.

I think its cool because it used to be an import beer in Northcarolina as they didnt have the best ability to get it across the country in like the 60's and 70's and now its all cheap and easy to get so when i drink it i feel like my elders would appriciate me drinking the beer they always wanted at there parties but always had trouble getting lol kinda lame yea but i also love the taste and i've downed many cases of coorslight and never once woken up with a hangover unless some other alcohol got invited to the party lol.

Pretty sure it's illegal in PA to send booze via UPS (or whatever), otherwise you'd have a case heading your way. (unless of course I'm wrong)
