Anyone want to help in Philadelphia area?

My story: I have been lurking on here for quite a while but never did anything major to my 1999 Limited Millenium Silver 4runner with 150k miles. About a week ago I lost control in wet conditions going about 40 mph and smashed into a concrete median. Surprisingly, the airbags did not deploy and there wasn't too much damage. The front bumper just got a little smashed up but the whole thing needs to be replaced. Insurance estimated $1500 worth of damage and cut me a check for $500 after subtracting my deductible. I have always wanted an aftermarket bumper and lift (maybe tundra brake upgrade), so I think now is the time to do it. The only problem: I have no mechanical skill or knowledge to do the work myself. I am wondering if anyone in the area wants to help me out. I can throw out a little cash, food, or beer; I just cannot afford the $75/hour rate that a local 4x4 shop priced me. Wish I was closer, I rebuilt my 97 after it was rolled and had a blast doing it. I'm from the Erie area. Have any pics of the damage?

This is my first time uploading photos. Let's see if I did it correctly. The damage is not too bad, as you can see. At this time, I am planning on having an ARB bumper attached by a shop in West Chester.

I got this new ARB installed a few weeks ago. I am loving it. I think the bumper looks pretty good. Since I have no skills of my own, Pete over at MainLine Overland in West Chester PA did the work for me. I have nothing but good things to say about Pete and the work that he did.

Nice Millennium but there is no way you hit a concrete barrier at 40 mph. You would have totaled it it out. I am pretty sure that you slowed down before impact.


Silver is real easy to match. You can buy some duplicolor from the auto parts store, sand your flair down a little, mask up the fender and paint the flair.

Maybe I did slow down below 40(I really have no idea), but I was still going pretty fast. I was surprised how little damage there was. Nice rig you got there. I have read through your build before. You seem like you know what you are doing.
