I am new to this forum and I got a 2000 4Runner SR5 4x4 with an elocker a few months back:

I have spent hours and hours on this forum and on Yota Tech researching to do a budget lift. Thank you all for the boatload of helpful info on the forum here. I am pretty sure that I have it all together, but I wanted to run the list by you all to make sure I am not missing anything.

Front:
(all from Toytec)
Eibach coil springs
Bilstein 5100 shocks
replacement bushing/washer kit
front diff drop kit

Rear:
7.5 wrap LC coil springs -18.5" Double Pink Grey White 7.5 wraps (PS) and 18 7/8" Orange Orange White 7.75 wraps (DS)
OEM LC rear shocks with 3\4" bushings
Toytec extended rear brake lines

The truck will by in my DD rotation with my other trucks, and used for moderate wheeling here in Colorado and in Utah. I plan on running skinny 33s (255/85) in a mud tire on this truck. After the lift and tires will come sliders. Bumpers will be down the road - probably after I tear the stock ones up by wheeling it.

Any constructive comments and suggestions would be much appreciated.

The only thing I see that you MAY want is either a panhard drop bracket, or adjustable trac bar. Once lifted your rear axle will probably be a bit off center. Some people use them, some don't. I will be when I install my lift.

The pan hard drop isnt necessary, I dont run one, but if you have the money go for it. But everything you listed is correct. You will be reusing your "top hat" for the front strut off your 4runner. (The part that screws to the top of the shock to keep the spring compressed) So if you dont want to reuse your old one you can buy some new and use those.

Yes, you need to get your priorities straight and post pics of that 40 I see hiding in the back of your driveway!

Yeah. I have a friend with a wall mount strut compressor in his shop, so I figured I would disassemble the old and assemble the new struts there.

I see your condition is more advanced than mine ound:. Do your friends ever think about staging an intervention for you?

The general consensus is that 5 4WD Toyotas only earns me "Hoarder" status. When I go beyond 7, perhaps an intervention will be in order.

Back on topic: Will I need to do anything about bump stops on the 4Runner?

Its not necessary, but highly suggested. You can buy extended bump stops or buy used chevy blazer bump stops to use like Ripcord just did. Check his build.
