I did a very rough cut of the dash cam footage I had from the trip.
It pretty much looks like the same trail conditions as when TrailsOffRoad did it in their videos.

I'm pretty sure all the videos are sliced together in the right order.
The back dash cam blinks every minute or so, I think that's either a bug in the software or when it's writing the file to the card real quick, either way, annoying, but not a deal breaker to record the back view.

Regarding new moon camping/run which was discussed in this thread before the lost the posts, I'm in Death Valley that week with friends and family camping so while I'd love to come hang out, will need to miss that one. Maybe another later in the month or in Feb.
Similar to [MENTION=68308]phqduphead[/MENTION] I travel a lot for work and do my best to hit the trails when I can.

Side note: [MENTION=68953]jhmoore[/MENTION] My RCI skid plates came in, if you want my stock one to replace yours as it got that nice dent in it during this trip you can have it when I do the install. Just let me know.

Someone else said that the 6th didn’t work for them (in the list posts), so it might not be the right weekend. It’s just the new moon, so that’s why I suggested it.

Somehow it looks like you managed to take it a lot slower than I did! (I was in 1st gear, 4LO, and felt like I was on the brakes too much... but in the video it looks like I'm flying down!)

I'm available the 6th. I'm available the 12th and 13th too, but have to be back to SD by 4 on the 13th. Looks like I'm open the following weekend (19-20) too.

The day we were out there, yes, one of us ended up going up the ramp to bug out back to San Diego without going through Fish Creek Wash. It was reported to not be terribly hard.

I don't know what this spring's rains did to it.

My buddies went downhill and up last year. I didn't notice as much slippage uphill as downhill.
