Friends,
I first used AOB a few years ago on my FJC. I bought a couple switches (1-OFF ROAD LIGHTS, 1- WINCH). I went to put them in this past weekend, and after getting the lights done I noticed the switch does NOT fit the OEM hole!!!
Now, their website is rudimentary. I understand this. But, the website clearly listed the switches as fitting the 2010-2020 T4R.
I reached out to Air On Board, and this is where the issues arose:
1. No phone number
2. Got a hold of the AUS AOB and had to be directed to AOB USA.
3. AOB USA was dismissive, careless, and short sided.
4. AOB USA decided they will NOT exchange the products (even the winch which is NEW IN THE BAG).
5. I asked for reconsideration and again they gave a short one sentence “No.”
I really can’t remember having such piss poor customer service outside of government ran businesses (lol)…
Endstate:
Instead of getting the exchange from AOB and buying a couple more for the other accessories I’m adding to my rig, I am now taking the time to write this warning on all the forums I’m a part of. I am moving on from AOB as there are multiple competitors to now try out, and I hope you do the same.
