I got got lol. Recently noticed some squeaking from the aftermarket lbj's I put in when I first got the truck a little over a year ago now. Recently replaced the passenger side first with OEM and black bolts was meaning to do the drivers side shortly after but didn't get to it in time. Oh well, lesson learned. This is now a "while im in there" situation.

Have:

new OEM lbj for drivers side w/ black bolts
new OEM wheel bearings + seals
new trakmotive axles + OEM axle seals
Total Chaos spindle gussets
new SPC upper ball joints

Some non related things I've been meaning to do and now doing:

OEM battery tie down
denso o2 sensors
brake booster

Planning to weld the spindle gussets this weekend.
 
Hey! Think about putting a thin strap of steel around the top of the knuckle where the UCA bolts in. Some people blow out the casting and the gussets wont help that weak area.

Do you have more pictures of the failed LBJ? Bummer that happened! What brand were they?

Yeah I've seen some people do that with the upper part of the knuckle!

I think they were mevotech or something like that from rock auto.
 
Dang bro... that's really gnarly. Lol I didn't even touch dirt with mine until I replaced my LBJ's with OEM ones. I was determined not to have that happen to me. Good thing it looks like you weren't going that fast. At least it didn't damage your fender or anything on your body. I know that can happen in more severe cases. That would have really sucked if it did.
