I was thinking about going with the blue to go with my nautical blue...
I promised myself not to start anything new until current projects are wrapped up, this tempts me to break that promise. Ha

So this bugged me a bunch:

Notice how the top part of the Alien switch was lit all the time and the lower lights up in addition when the switch is pressed? Doesn't match any of the other switches I have (like the ditch light one) where the lower text is on with vehicle ACC power.

So, time to tear it apart and fix it. :lmao:

Basically, these switches are fed input power through one of the illumination circuits - I changed which wire fed the output by slicing one lead and soldering a jumper from the input I wanted. This way I could have the switch lit and operational from the lower circuit instead of the top. Works great now, and matchie matchie :rockon:

Whats up peeps - been a few weeks. Got a nice 300 mile round trip in over the weekend to fish the Driftless - longest ride yet with the rig and got 16 mpg avg. Can't complain there! This time of year I'd get 12-13 with the Iceberg...

Let me know if you need any verbal assistance! I'd be happy to help in any way. What are you going with for your pipes? I have had no issues with my Gibson...Still sound nice on stock headers and y-pipe. :cheers:

My stock manifolds sound like a lawn mower/jalopy literally the worst exhaust leak Ive ever heard. So Im doing DT Long tubes, DT ypipe, and I am undecided on muffler. Might just take it to a shop and ask their opinion, idk honestly. I don't mind running it straight piped for a day or 2 though lol

There ya go. Sounds like you have a good plan in mind. I can see how this project puts your retro on the DL for a bit though... My had to shield my wallet's eyes from your post - I'd be afraid to know what that whole sick setup will set you back! :lmao:

Wanted to mount it alongside the RTT, and not many people have done so.

Started with some 7" pieces of 1020 series 8020 (same material as Sherpa rack crossbars)

Get a couple holes and threaded ends in for mounting on the aluminum rack plate...
