It seems cleghorns offshoots offer way more challenges

Where i did that balancing act?

There is plenty of the balancing acts on cleghorn now. The rains this year really tore up the trail.

I would still rate 2n17x as more difficult then cleghorn.

I say [MENTION=87168]Crazy[/MENTION]norweigan takes lead for the difficult trail group (sideshoots and 2N17x) since he has the most experience on these trails and knowing what to expect throughout the trails and the knows what lines and what it takes to make it safely through the difficult sections. [MENTION=123332]Drunner97[/MENTION] can do the mid and myself and [MENTION=128841]Spenny[/MENTION] could run tail.
Or [MENTION=60694]TheSentinel[/MENTION] I could run tail with you and Spenny could run tail for crazynorweigan with drunner97 in the mid.
We wouldn't really need a mid on the less difficult trails.

Your guys thoughts? If your all comfortable with that in those positions I say run with it.

3rd gen Tacoma and a Nissan both flipped in the past week in very likely the spot you're talking about. Both were solo and picked the wrong line.

Yeah ... you think they picked a bad line!!! And [MENTION=111581]giovannie23[/MENTION] over here doing balancing acts ...I would go ahead and bypass that it's got bad juju all over it brotha. I would want to be responsible as a spotter for someone else on a trail like that, with known roll overs. I'd be sweatin and stressin out lol.

I'd be happy to lead the cleghorn hard trails. I can't even count how many times I've done that trail. As for 2n17x I've done it once. I know how to navigate lines and spot people very well. But, I'm sure there are people who have been on that trail many more times than me who know it better. It's really not that hard of a trail, but like all trails in the area they are ever changing with new challenges. Either way I'm up for the adventure

I just don't think there is anyone going on this meet & run that has as much experience as you with these trails in general but also as much experience/knowledge with technical wheeling and judging/deciding the best and safest lines to take with zero/ minimal damage...minimal being driver error only of course. Lol

(And if I have made a incorrect judgement of others (members) and their experience on these trails that are signed up and going I apologize and please correct me if I am wrong so I myself and the others know, also speak up if you would like to play In one of these positions or willing to be a back up if the slotted person was unable too do it for whatever reason...it happens) and last min game planning sux!!

I'm glad everyone is good and comfortable with there position and role to help make this one .....as [MENTION=60694]TheSentinel[/MENTION] has said "Epic Day T4R Trail Day" for everyone from newbies to the experienced.
Cause no matter what level anyone is at were there cause of one common bond ...the luv for our Rigs (Toyota).

I'd say at least 1/2 going so far are planning on the hard stuff. Also hard to say how many people are actually going to show up. In my experience, it's usually about 70-75% of the roster that actually show up. I know there are a good amount of people that don't plan on running the hard stuff either, which is why [MENTION=60694]TheSentinel[/MENTION] is asking ahead of time to try to figure out who's doing what. It makes it hard when people say they're coming, but don't respond to the general questions needed to help organize.

That sounds like a pretty tight group. I have to prep for a Vegas (work) / Death Valley (not work) trip the following weekend, but as long as I get enough done beforehand, I'd like to tag along. It'll be great to finally meet some of the forum guys!

"Looks like it was a good time I should have went" "but I will definitely not miss the next one" ...when is it?

Must have been better days for xtreme mall crawling with zero damage reported with one recovery needed with a rig getting hi centered on a section known as the parking curb garden.

LOL I won't let it be a cluster, we can manage 2x 10 truck groups just fine. If 75% show, we'll be well under 20 trucks. With the handful of experienced guys going/leading, we'll be fine.

One person can be an expert, but someone who knows less may still have a better idea on how to tackle an obstacle. Problem solving using multiple brains has always proven to work better. It takes advantage of the fact that everyone thinks a little differently.

On that note I'd still be happy to be the guy in front of all the other awesome people going.

Should be fine. I'm on 32s too albeit I have metal tech and icon rear with 5100s and 885# up front.

You'll be fine. I will not be taking anyone down the chute. That section is Guaranteed body damage without full armor and high ground clearance. If anyone want to go down it you will be on your own, other than me taking a video of the carnage.
