If you don't have a lead for the second group by the time we get there, I'll do it, but I may take a couple off shoots for fun =P I've only been there once, but it's pretty simple to stay on the main road, anyone can lead it. I'll be surprised if we get a full group of 30 showing up.

Yeah, I'm sure there will be a few guys who can't show. But its still going to be a huge group. As long as I can get guys with comms midway and at the rear of the convoy, we should be fine.

Anyone have a drone we can use for live aerial coverage of the event. Or does anyone know how much it is to rent the Goodyear blimp? Maybe get some sponsors and throw in some commercials, and use the guy who said "boom goes the dynamite" as the commentator. Just a thought.

Camping ?
I'm thinking about driving up from San Deigo w/son for this but don't know if I want to drive back the same day.
Anyone know of any primitave campsites around where you guys will be wheeling?
If you can recommend a place to camp/crash I'd be more inclined to get some seat time with you guys.

Think there are a couple other guys planning on camping too. I may have to think about whether I want to haul all my gear or not. Dunno where the others are camping and I don't know the area myself.

There is rain expected this week. Friday and Saturday look to be dry and in the 60's. There is a good possibility that we will get our trucks muddy!
>> Friends that want to add to this run, I honestly didn't think that this run would get this big. The roster is at 31 trucks so far, which is absolutely awesome. We all need to get out from the hustle and bustle from time to time. However, in order to maintain safety, to avoid chaos, and preserve the overall enjoyment of this run, I'm capping the list where we are at now. I encourage anyone else who has a friend who wants to go too, to come along as a passenger and ride shotgun.

I have several people who want to join in, and I need an accurate count to be fair to everyone. To all trying to add, I have seen your PMs, I will hopefully have a modified answer on how large I'm willing for this meet to get by this evening. Thank you for your patience.

I plan on eating at Papagayos Mexican Restaurant there after the meet concludes. All are welcome to join me, but if more than a few are...we might need reservations.
