Thanks for the great weekend. It's awesome to be around such a great group of people. Thanks to Jason [MENTION=60694]TheSentinel[/MENTION] for organizing, Miah [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] and Andrew [MENTION=102715]CrazyNorwegian[/MENTION] for leading the groups. I'm definitely hooked and looking forward to the next time. I was a little hesitant in doing the bypass but I'm glad I did some and found out what the 2WD runner can do. My kids had a great time as well, now they're asking me when are we going next. Big thanks to Spencer [MENTION=128841]Spenny[/MENTION] and Chris [MENTION=110459]Burnsie24[/MENTION] for camping with us. We learned a lot and you guys do it right! You guys ROCK! Thanks Miah for hooking us up!

What Icon suspension are you running and how much lift front and rear? I'm ready for an upgrade after my last trip and thinking of going with 2.5" in front and 1.5" rear. Seeing your rig in action helps me gauge what I'm looking for.

Mine's the Silver 3+ a 64 gig card gets me like 5 1/2 hours of video. Batteries are usually good for about 1-1 1/2 hours. I had 3, but I'm missing one, which is why I kept plugging the charger in when we were stopped for an extended time.

haha at the 5:25 mark is where my cousin was like you but he even slid a little! thought he was gonna tip.
When i saw that part, i forced myself to just stay on the right in that specific section hahah.

yew!!! Had a great time with everyone yesterday and a little extra today! [MENTION=133319]MACT4R[/MENTION], [MENTION=110459]Burnsie24[/MENTION] and I backtracked from Arrowhead Village on Pilot Rock rd to a spot we found while playing catch up.
Everyone who ditched out and didn't stay the night missed out on BBQ tri-tip, dutch oven peach cobbler and then chorizo and egg breakfast burritos. Next time.
Looking forward to more trail runs with some new friends!

was part of the 3rd group, but couldn't resist to try some of the more challenging offshoots. Itching to go back, and already planning to go back later this month to try more of the difficult courses as well as pilot rock.

Thanks to all that came and made it a great time for everyone. A reminder, there is a thread for May's meet, please post your ideas for the run there. Miah recommended Calico as one option.
On a side note, there was someone recording my harrowing traversing of a difficult obstacle, I'd love to see it.

First and foremost thanks to Sentinel for organizing this run and the group leaders Miah and Andrew for taking the time to help out a noobie like me!
This was my first off-road run ever with my own vehicle and let me tell you it won't be my last...despite it being my first time and only doing the easy routes it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!
I definitely have the bug like Miah said haha! A couple of things that really stood out from this meet vs every other meet I have ever gone too.
1. No hostility or "my cars better then your's" attitude.
2. So organized!! Even with the hiccups everything still went very smooth.
3. Everyone was so nice, friendly to talk to, no awkwardness, willingness to help others, borrow equipment (ie air compressor at the end thanks Marcos!)
I'm so glad I made the switch to a T4R and was able to meet the awesome people in this forum! From what was mentioned above this truly does feel like a family. I can't wait for the next one, I will definitely push my car to do some of the harder routes!

1. As for "No hostility or "my cars better then your's" attitude." I was definitely giving off that vibe, maybe it's my PRO grill that gives me a sense of entitlement. Join a Jeep or Range Rover club if you want that vibe.
2. Organization was on point, everyone was respectful and I definitely respect the organizers "no man left behind" attitude.
3. Cool group to hang with for a few days.I don't know if I can stand more than 2-3 days max of Toyota geeky-ness and you guys eye-fuking the ish out of each others trucks.
I'm proud to own a Toyota; DD, reliable and less pretentious. A working persons vehicle.
