Just wanna say thank for letting us join, what an awesome experience. My whole family had fun. Jason did a great job organizing, im really looking forward to do it again soon, hopefully i have better tires by then. All you guys became my new best friends haha

First and foremost thanks to Sentinel for organizing this run and the group leaders Miah and Andrew for taking the time to help out a noobie like me!

This was my first off-road run ever with my own vehicle and let me tell you it won't be my last...despite it being my first time and only doing the easy routes it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!

I definitely have the bug like Miah said haha! A couple of things that really stood out from this meet vs every other meet I have ever gone too.

1. No hostility or "my cars better then your's" attitude.
2. So organized!! Even with the hiccups everything still went very smooth.
3. Everyone was so nice, friendly to talk to, no awkwardness, willingness to help others, borrow equipment (ie air compressor at the end thanks Marcos!)

I'm so glad I made the switch to a T4R and was able to meet the awesome people in this forum! From what was mentioned above this truly does feel like a family. I can't wait for the next one, I will definitely push my car to do some of the harder routes!

my sentiments exactly! my passengers had previous experience in the 'import' scene and were very impressed by how everyone was so freaking nice! can't wait to make it out to the next run...

I need to get my CB installed and pick up a couple FRS handhelds for the event that someone like myself needs to borrow one :cheers:

I didn't get any video or much in the way of pics, so sorry in advance for the iPhone photos! I did manage to break in my sliders on this trip. Can't wait for the next one!

Mine's the Silver 3+ a 64 gig card gets me like 5 1/2 hours of video. Batteries are usually good for about 1-1 1/2 hours. I had 3, but I'm missing one, which is why I kept plugging the charger in when we were stopped for an extended time.

haha I also have 3 batteries and just went to Amazon and ordered a set of four more.

I need to get a couple more. The charger for the extra batteries came with a 12v plug, but it stopped working. I used to be able to charge the first battery while working through the 2 extra then have enough juice on the first one from driving around to get a 4th set out of it. Eventually I'll be setting up a 1000w inverter in the back connected to my second battery then I can just plug stuff in back there and leave it plugged in while we're moving or stopped.

Make sure your wifi is off on the go pro. I usually get 2.5-3 hours per battery @ 1080p 25fps.

It's always off. I run 1080p @ 60 fps, so it kills the battery a tad faster, heh.

Unless your doing a lot of slowmo video, 60fps is very high and will give the video an un-natural look. Soap opera's are shot at high frame rate, while almost every movies in the theaters are shot at 24fps. It sounds low but will give it a very theatrical look.

Hrmm. Interesting to know. I'll give my next run a shot at the lower fps and see if I notice the difference.

No i wasnt due to money from repairing it. I will be buying it soon though.

9 teeth off the pinion, gears,axle? What size of gears did you go with? How does it feel?
