April 21-23 El Camino Del Diablo Documentary Trip

Hello everyone,

I will be filming a documentary on overlanding and El Camino Del Diablo in Southern AZ leaving from Los Angeles on April 21st. It's a roughly 125 mile dirt road that has existed for over 300 years traversing between Yuma and Ajo.

If anyone wants to tag along I'm looking for one or two other trucks to come with. There will be frequent stops for video and photos along the trail at various sights so we will travel at a rather leisurely pace. The trail should be fairly easy barring any unforeseen rain that could turn silt beds into mud bogs.

You will need to sign a release form for video and in return you'll get tons of high quality photos and videos of you and your truck.

As I am in San Diego, it would make sense for me to just meet you in Yuma as I can just go out the 8. I should know tomorrow if I can get the 21st off.

Thanks for all the interest everyone! I do need to cap this to at most 2 other vehicles due to permit restrictions on the military and wildlife range. If this run goes well and everything is awesome I'll look at getting the commercial permit and I'll lead a much larger group in the fall once it cools down again. I'm waiting to hear back from a few sponsors today and will check in with everyone once I get everything locked down.

I broke a rib riding my bike. I'll probably be good enough to get back into wheeling in a couple more weeks.
