Ar to MN in a few hours 2wd, snow and ice expected. Any suggestions

I've lived in midwest for many years but recently moved down south and have the 2wd runner since the use of 4x4 would be so limited for the couple miles to work and back each day.

Leaving in a few hours, 1-4 inches expected early in Kansas city/Iowa/MN and 100 percent chance of precip.

Trunk is packed with gifts and a few 24 packs of soda, top yakima loadwarrior with a roadbag 1/2 full and a cooler.

Let the good times roll 900 miles

Pray you don't get stuck? I think my 4R does pretty well in the snow before I engage 4WD. If you notice it getting cold, and you are in the wet, take it easy, and don't attempt anything you're not absolutely sure of. Hopefully, you don't have a crappy set of Cooper road tires that aren't going to stick to the road if there is a trace of snow on it. Other than that, you really have no options, so...good luck?

Made it fine, had new hankooks on 2010 Oem 20s

Des Moines to Mn border there was a few inches of snow on the roads but just did 60ish.

However today in mn was going to my dads in the cities and got stuck at a stop sign up a hill. I turned on the auto LSD and to my amazement it worked well

I'll post more after the new year so others can view a full detailed report

I wouldn't say you _need_ 4wd in MN on the roads. Just take it easy and you're good.

If the roads are bad enough the traffic sucks and is slow anyway.
