Does anyone have experience with these compressors? I recently installed one and have blown through two air hoses because they are getting too hot melting the hose and then I pops.

It’s the single compressor. It is in the engine bay mounted right where the factory intake would run to the inside of the fender liner. The hose was rated for I believe 300 psi but again it just got so hot right where it runs into the compressor t melted the line. I guess I’ll try a steel braided line. That then runs to the rubber line. Any suggestions on length for the steel line?

My ARB single is behind the air filter box. It gets hot but nothing is happening with the house. Mine is a rubber ARB hose that comes with their quick connect kit. I only have steel braided line for the inflator/guage final foot.
I don't let the hose you h the compressor I'd that's what you're having happen.

Electric air compressors should not be mounted in the engine bay. York compressors were very popular over the years until VIAIR and ARB came out with good setups.
My older ARB compressor has a small manifold on it where my arb air locker lines go then into push on plastic fittings.
My VIAIR compressor has a stainless braided line for the first 12" of the outlet then into standard hoses.
1. Mount the compressor somewhere away from heat such as under the passenger seat or in the back quarter panel. It will also last a lot longer out of the elements.
2. Oversize the wiring to increase the efficiency and run it with the truck on.
3. Stainless braided or higher quality hoses for the output line.
