ARB awning owners, did you go 2000 or 2500?

As title states, did you go with the 2000 or the 2500? If you went with one, do you wish you went with the other one instead? I am about to order one and can't make up my mind. I think I am leaning towards the 2500, but not 100%. I will be mounting to a bajarack flat rack with gzila mounts.

I went with the 2000mm because I felt the 2500 overhung too much. In retrospect the 2000mm doesn't cover enough as I'd like and I wish I opted for the larger one when purchasing.

Ordered a 2000, picking up in a month with my baja flat rack. Didn't want the overhang with a 2500 but if it doesn't cover enough I may upgrade to the 2500.

No, the 2000 is plenty for my usage. I do agree that the overhang looks ugly but that's just me.

sounds like a 2250 would be perfect, why can't all companies design things around our 4Runners?
that being said i went with the 2500 for more coverage. from the driver seat i can only see it jutting out if i lean over the steering wheel. it does hang over a good bit but that's alright by me

2000 with Gzilla mounts on Bajarack flat rack. Like others stated the overhang would've bugged me.

I have the 2000 and I am satisfied. If I were to order another one it would be a 1250 to mount on the rear of my rack.

Thanks for the input everyone! I am not a huge fan of the overhang either, but I think the extra coverage is probably worth it. I think I am going to go with the 2500. How easy or hard is it to install and take off with just one person? If it really bugs me, I suppose I could leave it off and just put it on when I need it (camping trips and such). My only fear is the extra length hitting my garage while pulling in, as my driveway slants.

How easy or hard is it to install and take off with just one person?

I installed mine myself using FOURTRECKS awning mounts. It was relatively painless. I laid the awning on the rack to figure out how far apart to space the mounts.

• Installed the mounts to the rack without tightening
• rotated them so I could lay the awning on top of the mounts
• attached the awning
• rotated the mounted awning into position
• tightened the mounts to the rack

Took less than 30 minutes.

2500. Overhang doesn't bother me and it's nice to have the front door open and have coverage while raining.

Got around to installing a ARB2000. I think the overhang from the 2500 would've bothered me as well. Wish I had gotten one sooner these are awesome!
