ARB bumper, appropriate springs with stock shocks?

I want a stiffer spring rate that will give me an appropriate ride height with stock rear springs and XREAS shocks. Would a OME885 work or do I need a longer shock?

I would personally not run stock suspensions with the ARB, not sure how the XREAS shocks would handle all that extra weight, especially if you add a winch. I would look into Heavy OME's or Coilovers.

I appreciate the comments, I figured I would try it out and see. If I need to upgrade, I will.
I will not be adding a winch. While 175lbs is not tiny, it is a very small percentage of the mass damped by the shocks before adding a bumper, so my guess is that they will do an adequate job.

I would look around Toyota120 some, I know some guys have done this with Shrockworks Bumpers (which is lighter than ARB) and all of what I have read said they ended up hitting their bumpstops all the time. Tried to find the threads on this, but have not been able to yet.

I even know some people upgrade their springs in their coilvers to something even stiffer to counter the added weight.

Thanks BlairB, I looked around and will be picking up some FJ Cruiser springs, look like they will raise it back up the correct amount!

Basically, I smashed my front end when people stopped dead on the highway, couldn't stop in time. Price wise it made sense to upgrade.

Then, 2 days later, my girlfriend was run off the road and her front end is smashed (3rd gen 4runner). I will be installing an ARB on hers as well. Now I need to find the appropriate spring for her truck.

I would run OME 881 coils and the N91 shocks on a 3rd gen with the ARB
