Arb fridge for 356 plus free shipping

being in canada...this was going to cost a bit for shipping anyways. i actually found the 50qt arb fridge up here for $700 CAD. i figured that was about as good as i was gonna do and went for it. like you, the lady already had considered the money gone.....so whats a few extra hundred??? right???

It is NOT dishonest to take advantage of such a deal, just incompassionate at most. Business is business and they need to remember retail rule number 1 -the customer is always right. If I made this order I would push hard for them to fulfill it. Else they have stolen my time! F that. Their profit margin can accommodate their mistake. Shame on them.

I actually agree with this. However, if someone offers to sell something at a very steep discount, accepts my offer to purchase (my order), receives agreed payment and then realizes they made a mistake and admits it to me and tells me they really goofed and can't do what they said because of some error, I'm a pretty understanding guy. They give me my money back and we go on down the road. If they had offered to sell and taken my order, been paid the agreed upon sum and sent the sold product, how are either of these situations dishonest? Hey, I've offered items for sale too low, agreed to sell for that price and then realized I goofed. I still sold for the agreed price because my word is good. That's just how I roll.

As far as this deal is concerned, I'm not surprised, angry, disturbed or worrying about it. It was fun to see if it was going to happen or not and now we know. :driving:

Delta had a similar mistake recently and honored the low prices, as they should. JCW is incompetent and lame.

I am starting to think that their internet person was disgruntled and quit. But before they left they created some problems for JCW.

Ha ha. One of my first jobs many many years ago was stocking and pricing stuff at a food store. On my last day I priced a few cases of bacon for .05 each :flipoff:

It would have been nice if you guys could have legally stole these things but please don't get outraged and pissed when it did not happen.

To anyone that seriously wanted a fridge. There are 2 Ironman 50L with free shipping for $625 each at TRDParts4U. I believe it it same as an Engel. I had one for a couple years and it was awesome. I would even say better than an ARB my friends had. It never drained my battery down so my FJ would not start. Just sayin.
