I am thinking about the 50 too...... 37&50 is of the same length and width just taller or shorter...... 63&82 is of same length and width and again just height diff.
63&82 is wider and longer, so overall, take a much larger footprint.
So, I want the smaller footprint, and I don't mind the height.
I have a 20% discount I can use.... so that will get a 50qt close to $600.... seems like a good buy...

Also, have you look into whether the "transit bag" is worth it or not?

I have the engel mt45 and seem that the most popukar sizes are this and the 50quart sizes. It allows you to only need to use a third of the cargo floor area and have ample room for goods in the fridge along with good current draw allowing it to runa few days on a single battery charge.
Absolutely, minimally, you can use this fridge(even 50QT) without a slider. They lid has quick release feature, allow much easier access than any cooler out there even without a slider. Check out the video here:

If I don't have the 3rd row seats, I will be going all out for these drawers. I definitely want these more than just the slider.
Why do you need to do any wiring? Doesn't the ARB fridge connect to the 12V cigarette light plug/jack that is at our cargo area? And doesn't the ARB fridge only draws 0.87amp?

The fridge shuts itself off if in senses low voltage which mine did more than once plugged into the truck’s 12V. If I remember the reason was the smaller wire used in the truck. Has not happened since using their beefier harness. Send ARB an email if you need a more technical info – they are really good at answering.
I don’t leave mine in the truck nor do I use it at home only because I have a small fridge in the barn but I know that others do both. I do have an AC cord for it but I don’t remember if it came with it or I bought it separate. The only time I use it is the night before heading out I plug it into AC power to get down to temp. Then I switch over to truck power for the trip.

If you need convincing, just buy the $50 ice cooler because you probably don't actually need a fridge.

Dude, buy a 5 day cooler. Honestly, very few really NEED a fridge as most are not completely cut off from all civilization for longer than a few days. They have a fridge because they want a fridge. If you want one then you have to pay for one. Simple. Geez, I have traveled the world for my job and even in remote China we were only a few days drive from an ice machine. Hell, you can pack freeze dried and canned food and not even need a cooler for a week.

Here is my contribution to this:
I bought a 50QT a few years back and let me tell you its awesome!!!
I have camped with my wife on 9500 mile trip from Canada to US and back Edmonton/San Diego/Edmonton through Moab and such. This thing is amazing. It is not about what you "need" vs. "want" like it was mentioned if we lived life like that most of us wouldn't be driving 4Runners with expensive mods period but a Honda Civic or something. That being said see if you have a 4x4 shop/ Toyota shop in your local area, they might have a floor model for cheaper, maybe EBAY for a used one?
The biggest advantage is being able to keep constant temperature and DRY cold. Dry is the biggest thing, no more wet chocolates, soggy cookies, Veggies and meat in opened packs all stay dry and fresh. Then when you run low on food and its just drinks, crank it down to - 4C and keep your beer COLD.
I leave mine in the summer. It is unplugged most of the nights but if I know i'm going camping or even to the lake later in the day or playing a soccer game with the boys in the evening, load it up with beer and plug it in in the morning.
Now when I went camping, I leave it plugged in all the time. 2-3 days in the wilderness is no problem. Always fresh, cool, and constant fresh and DRY produce.
I have wired #10 AWG CCT straight from the battery with an inline fuse along/underneath the front cross member, then through the firewall on the passenger side and along the foot boards which already have channel for other wiring and hooked it up straight to the stock 12V at the back. This way I have constant power at that outlet whether vehicle is running or not.
Photos of my drawer system and ARB Fridge from my Landcruiser, 4runner has the sliding tray and I just secured it with bungee cords to the tray. Unless you are doing Tokyo Drift, it wont go nowhere, especially loaded with wobbly pops, however i'm planning on buying ARB drawers for proper set up.
