I am interested as well. Really been wanting a 50Qt. I am tired of hauling around huge coolers and having to dump water and buy more ice along my journeys. Be nice to wire this up and forget about it.

I can tell you first-hand, the ARB fridge is just awesome! I just let it run in the back of whatever vehicle we take on road trips, even overnight in the parking lots of hotels, come out next morn and start the vehicle right up, no issues, and everything stays as cold as I want it!
For a family of 4, the 37 quart is a good size for 1 or 2 day trips, but anything longer and I find myself wanting a bit more space. Of course, most folks don't drive to Utah or Oregon to get frozen local food from Hawaii to bring back home!
If I didn't try to bring back a whole store's worth of frozen foods, I think the 37qt would be just fine, but I'm a bit :der:, so bigger is better for us!
Oh yeah, while it says it uses less than 1A per hour, that's true, but that also depends on temps in the vehicle and just how cold you're trying to keep stuff. The actual load is a bit higher than that when its on, but it does shut down completely when it hits the target temp, unlike the peltier-type coolers (like igloos) where they will run non-stop and kill a battery in hours.
There's another thread in the 5th gen section that I started about the current draw of the ARB, in case anyone's interested in real-world numbers.
