ARB Marker/Fog Lights. Need help

I am installing an ARB on my 2006 Runner.

I bought the Light kit from ARB and now I need help wiring the lights.

I am really lost here and have never done any extra wiring in a vehicle...here goes.


Now where do I splice/attach etc...


The Driver and Passenger sides are a little different (confusing).
ARB provide some little red splicing clips......?

I'm sure you guys have answered this a few times, but I didn't find it in my thread search.

Do a search on the expedition portal forum. I have seen a thread about this a month or so ago.

I would not cut into the oem harness. For the fogs, you can buy an oem harness connector on ebay and connect the arb fogs into that harness. I heard the arb connector is junk anyway that moisture and water will get into.

I will be getting my arb bumper in a month or so. So cant help you much yet.

After cleaning up my garage I found I had hidden two connectors/harnesses.

They plug into the Marker light plug then leave me with bare wire to "splice" into the factory wiring???? Does this sound right to anyone?

The OEM harness mentioned above on ebay?

ARB didn't give me any connector for the Fogs... Sounds like I should get a couple of these harnesses regardless? Then just plug into the OEM fog Harness???

Hummm. Don't want to mess this one up. Any more input?????

You want to get a separate OEM plug with wires at the end so you can hook it up to the arb lights. So there is no splicing of the OEM harness. You just simply use an extra oem plug and plug that into the oem vehicle harness. That way you can just disconnect easily when needed.

I found a plug/adapter that connected the OEM Fog harness (bought from a local stereo/lighting install shop), then I spliced in the ARB fogs into the wires from it. Soldered them together... Yes I can unplug the fogs if needed.

As for the Markers and signals. I used the Clip style adapters ARB provided to link them to the existing lights. I guess these connectors aren't the best, but it got the job done for me. And ARB provided a new harness for these to unplug if needed.
