ARB single vs twin compressor

Just got my Twin compressor in and i already have the Bandi mount which has been collecting dust for a few months.

Alex at Battle Born Offroad has been great. Very helpful and fast shipping. Would highly recommend them. They shipped quickly but this was also an item that they had in stock and not drop shipped.

Ordered the compressor harness from Switch-pros to easily/cleanly connect to my 9100.

I do have a couple air hoses: One short coiled and one regular 50ft. Debating if I should run an air fitting to the rear so i only need to carry the short coiled hose.

My opinion is no. It is easy enough getting around to all 4 tires with a long hose, without having to add another connection. Could be a clean solution but also more work for not much payoff.

Nice choice, Jdm-v35. Bandi mount will work perfectly. Air tank is not a must since you can't fit anything over 1-gallon under the plate. I've some food for thought on system for you. I had my quick connects near sliders under the frame - it is convenient location but don't do because it collects dirt. I moved one ARB quick connect to under the hood (see pic):

Then I realized all my tools and hose is in the back under sliding tray. So I couldn't help but route and install primary access ARB quick connect along with cool Autometer gauge back there (sorry I don't have it documented, pic is after all done only):

Wow I do like that. thanks for idea! I may look at routing it this way. Also, how did you solidly mount the fitting there?

There is a bolt that holds CPU module and reinforcement plate with convenient hole for 8mm bolt behind that panel. I made aluminum bracket to mount NTP connector for ARB quick connect trough. As for 120 volt/ 12 volt receptacle plate I drilled hole trough it to pass the connector nut but this plate does not hold ARB connector. Also storage shelf on the top of that liner is a godsend since it make access to all this a breeze. Tip: to remove electric accessory plate pry it out on the bottom first pull down and out the top after that.

Was the bandi mount a pretty tight fit for you? I mocked it up today but don't have all the air fittings so did not really mount it yet, but it seems pretty hard to get all the bolts to line up correctly. It doesn't just sit in nicely like a puzzle piece.

I fabricated my own out of 1/8 inch steel and 3 points of contact (firewall, wheel well, fender). It was overkill on strength, but given weight of the twin I'm glad I chose to do so.

Got the ARB installed today. I just need to connect the trigger wire to my switchpros. still waiting on the proper fittings for the actual air connection but pretty much done at this point.

The fitment of the Bandi mount is tight and it definitely takes some persuasion but once it's in the fit is perfect and it is super solid.
