ARB Summit Bumper

I finally had a chance to get at my bumper, my above post was incorrect, the bumper was installed not square from day one and only came to light when I put the bigger tires on. I loosened of the bolts and squared the bumper and now have the same clearances on both sides. The passenger side was 1/2" closer to wheel.

I have 33s and have no rubbing with my side plate.

What rims are those? I like them!

For those that have done self-installs: I'm looking to install this myself in my garage, any special tools I should make sure to have on hand before starting or any tips/tricks to make it go easier?

Thanks!

You can do the bumper with a utility knife, but might want something with a cut-off wheel for the wind deflectors, grills, and side tabs. Its not too bad, the directions in the box are in black and white and aren't that well written, but take your time, get the template cut out best as you can, and make sure you know when to use each bolt in the directions.

Pretty happy how it came out, i really like the under plates. It does look a little naked without lights, so that looks like the next step.

Smittybuilt X2O had to index both ends and you have to buy the control box mount if you don't use a Warn bracket that comes with it.

Thanks, I'm gonna try the Smittybilt x20 12k.

So i have the OME lift with 887 front springs, will they not hold the weight of this bumper without sagging??

The 10K is as big as they recommend.

Have the Eiback Pro Truck setup and I have my fronts on the second setting because of bumper and wench.

And you will need the smittybuilt mounting bracket from ARB.

Hey Sparkkky, How do you like the Pro Truck lift? Pros and cons? I'm thinking of going with that setup and not many reviews out there. Like you I plan on adding a front bumper. Thanks for any feedback!

Installed this myself using motorcycle flat jack to hold. Took about a week to look at all the parts, one day to install. Instruction is ok. I wonder how much shop would charge. Love it. Muscle lights about to go in.
