ARB Summit Bumper

Just got my ARB summit bar installed today with warn zeon 10-S and IPF lights. Installed OME heavy springs up front. Seems like I sag more now even with heavy springs than I did with stock springs and a hidden winch.

This is the only ARB setup that I have seen where I sort of like the outcome. Super white is my Jam!

Others have stated that they don't get why others are afraid of cutting their OEM bumper to make these various bumpers mesh.. I would not necessarily call it fear. I for one don't feel that one should have to chop on any body work when spending 1.5 to 2k on a bumper. Being backwards compatible is important to me so if I ever have to roll things back to stock for some reason I am not having to source all new (and pricey) components from the manufacturer to get back to where I was. For others it may be simple and chopping up the 4Runner here and there is no issue for them. If you can design and charge for a bumper that is branded as 'quality' then you can invest the time to make filler plates to complete the look. It's not that hard as smaller bumper outfits have designed filler plates so it's hard to argue that ARB cannot.

Hell many of these bumpers require cutting the OEM bumper cover in the same place. Perhaps a company should specialize in upper bumper inserts for those that want a bumper but don't want to sawzall anything to make it work.

Yeah, it's worse today after it settled overnight and driving to work. The alignment is in spec and everything. I just thought the point of heavy springs were to handled the added weight and prevent sag. Are there any other front suspension options that can handle it without sag? The BP -51s seem good but not ready to blow 3500 on those yet. Would a .25 inch top plate spacer suffice without affected the ride and compression too much?

Just get different coils for the mean time. I upgraded to a set of 13" 700lb Kings from my old 650lb Eibachs a few months ago, world of difference

Biggest problem I have with this new summit bumper is NO recovery point. ARB tech told me to use the existing toyota "tie down" points. That's just stupid.
