ARB Summit Bumper

Hi, I won't be going with a winch for now. Please post pics when you install the new springs. That seems like the way to go for now. Thank you for the information.

Yes, the factory springs are only rated for 520lbs or something similar. The bumper with winch should be approaching 300lbs if not more depending on your winch selection. Go put 300lbs worth of human on the edge of your hood and see what happens with the front suspension.

For the TRD Pro suspension pick up a set of OME 2886 coils, they are rated for 660lbs and should provide 3" of lift without the spacer. These will be the perfect fit for this setup. I am picking up a set myself.

^^^Not surprising. Their skid plates are trash too for anything beyond mild wheeling. They make some good stuff, but those fender protection bars seem useless.

I have seen all of those Australian rigs with the fender bars and sliders bent up and wrecked. No thanks, I'll pass.

Yeah custom built and welded or nothing at all. Literally looks like one bolt holding the fender bar onto the front bumper across all models. Guess they are just to look "cool".

I got the summit installed about 2 months ago with the added recovery points. Just put in 700# springs from 650# and really happy now!

Looks great I'm debating one for my 19, cutting the factory bumper has me a little stressed out im pretty ocd and I'm worried it will be impossible to get a nice clean cut.

Just recently switch the front spring from 600 to 750, can definitely feel the different in nose dive.
Pic from last weekend in Yosemite.

Here’s my ARB bumper went with 750lb coils right of the bat once I calculated weight of bumper and winch for it would be constant weight plus it was free upgrade when I ordered my King coil overs highly recommend running heavy weight springs up front if ARB bumper is the route one is taking

Ugh it looks so good. Anyone compare the weight to other full bullbar options?

Stole some other pics of yours for the thread. It's too good not to share.

ARB Summit 191 lbs $1769

Shrockworks 137 lbs $1397

Coastal OffRoad 124 + the weight of the bullbars $601 + Labor

Demello Weight is unlisted $1650

Expedition One Aprox 154 lbs (prob without bars) $1514

CBI 200 lbs !! $1524

Relentless 145 lbs (prob without bars) $1699

That's enough google for me I'm tapping out. But that's a good reference.

What's the consensus on running the headlights with this bumper? Do you get a lot of glare off the bull bar?

It almost looks to me that they should have brought the bumper up and inch so it's flush with the trd pro grill. That way the headlights would be unobstructed.

Not sure if it comes with the bumper, but the shop that did my install put an adhesive black trim along the bumper where it was cut. Hides any issues with the cut and looks great IMO with the bumper.

Haven't noticed any glare from the headlights off the bull bar. I have my headlights angled down a good amount with the lift + tires, so I'm sure that helps.

Here is my bumper installed. Loving it. No glare from the headlights. Waiting on the fog light covers to come in. Also lifted the truck with GTS suspension from Main Line Overland. Thank you to ALLPRO for answering my PM's to get the TRD skid to fit, not on in this picture.http://[url=https://flic.kr/p/2g87wTh]

I'm torn between this and the Shrockworks bumper.

Also does anyone know if the Baja fogs will fit into the ARB bumper?
