ARB Summit Bumper

Guys,

Which suspension are you using with the Summit bumper and winch?

I'm running an Icon suspension. I had the 13" 650lb springs in for 2 months then swapped to the 14" 700lb springs and have been very happy since. It's a stiffer ride but the 650s were sagging with the weight.

Installed the fog light covers today. Gives a more finished look and protection. Pretty good for $40.00

When I got my bumper fog light covers came with it weird how it’s not standard glad you got them bud

They were supposed to come with it, but it didn't make it in the shipment. I got another set to have now, and then I'll have a spare.

Does the bumper need to come off to install a winch or can it be pushed in from the bottom?

Debating on 275/70/17 vs 285/70/17. I have a two inch front and rear lift. Wheels would be OEM TRD or a 17x8 0 offset wheel. Do we have to do any further modifications to fit a 285 in the front with the ARB bumper installed? I'd like to retain my front and rear mudflap. :snacker:

Lol front mud flap with 285s will have to go BMC seems to vary per 4runner otherwise you will be fine with no modifications at least that was my experience I’m running 285s

I will check when I get back haven't really measured yet, but shouldn't be much more than 2.5 in front and 3 - 3.5 in back. I used medium spring from wheelers not the heavier one from icon. also have aggressive BMC.

Which springs are you going with? I notice ARB has two springs that are rated for the Bumper & Winch. 2887 and the 2885 but it doesn't tell you the pound rating.

Any pics of the STEDI fog lights? Thinking about getting them this week :humble:

yep...have them on my bumper.

nice field of light (wide, not far)...probably about 5k to 6k in color...have not hooked up the outside ring as of yet, but maybe in a few weeks

all in all happy with the purchase

I haven't hooked up the outside rings...if you can wait until tomorrow night, I'll get you a couple of before and afters just the LED fogs.

ARB makes a bracket just for the Smitty Built control box and it mounts remote!
