I will check with 4wheel parts today. (tues) if they haven't done it, I will get it done when my truck goes back in for the bumper install.

I went out last night with my friend who has the jeep with the 6' inch full extension suspension and the 35 mt tires. I was able to go everywhere he did with no problem. he and I both were amazed.

do you know if a 275/70/17 tire will fit in the spare tire area if I have a trailer hitch?

I have not been able to. I tried airing it down but that didn't help. I carry tires plugs and leak spray at all times. It is also possible to air down the tire and put a stock wheel on the oposite side and limp to a repair location.

When I get my roof carrier, I will place it on the roof. Some people have had good experineces with hitch mounted carriers.

That's the rack I bought, and I just bought the spare tire mount off another forum user. I'll be adding the hi-lift mount and axe/shovel mount as well. Very nice rack, used it on my first road trip (1600 miles) 2 weeks ago.

I have 285's and stock wheels... but I had to use some wheel spacers to move them out a bit. Works well - so it's another option. Here's a picture:
