ARB Twin on Slee Mount - Mud issues?

Hi all,

I'm about to pull the trigger on the ARB Twin and mount in-bay with the Slee driver side bracket. I don't go through mud often, or water crossings often, but often enough where it's a bit of a worry.

For those that have done a decent amount of water crossings and mud pit splashing, did you have any issues with the compress air filter or quick connect port? If so, do you do anything special to help alleviate future issues?

Thanks in advance!

You're good to go. Mine has been mounted for at least 6 months and has been in the thick of it a couple times since. Still looks and operates as new. So no issues with the mounting location at all here.

Mines mounted on the opposite side, but I have had no issues, but then again I threw a cover over mine when not in use.

I would protect the hose coupler with a simple cap I got from Amazon. Grainger also sells it. Parker Hannifin Dust Protection Cap H8-66M.

Has anyone had issues with salt and corrosion? Thinking about mounting a compressor under the hood, but would hate the unit to rust out! Thanks!
