Are awning on 4th gen - stock roof rack install hardware

The U-Bolt scheme to the fore/aft stock rail seems to be a good mount since you can put several along the rail rather than just the 2 on the cross bars. I think that would make an 8 ft feasible, even allowing mount such that the lift back would be clear

What hardware did you buy to make this mounting work for your stock rails? Hardware store buy or somewhere else? I need ideas where I don't need to buy an expensive roof rack that I don't need and drilling into my existing rails??

Decided against one. Using a stand alone canopy. Thus I can leave the beach if necessary, without having to take it down. Of course someone stays with the canopy. I'm talking a quick trip to get bait, ice, food, etc. just more convenient for my use.

That said, even though expensive, I think I'd go with this mount rather than jury rig

Don't have a clue as I dropped the idea before actually exploring this mount. From the link it appears you would have to add something like Yakima bars to the stock rack to get these mounts to work.
