Are V6 and V8 transfer case shift motors identical?

I know the v8 is full time 4wd and the v6 is not, but the motors perform the same tasks in both (4hi/4lo and center diff lock). Can someone with real knowledge tell me if the v6 and v8 transfer case motors (actuators) are identical?

No they are not, the V6 is set up for 2WD, the V8 is not. I'm not entirely sure they'd work if you swapped them.
