Are you REALLY a Toyota family???

My wife took a picture of my son working on his FJ a couple weeks ago... We stated talking about our past Toyota vehicles and came up with 37 of them...yes that is correct 37....the people on here that know me (strap22) may swear it's more...

Currently we have only 6 because we just sold the Sequoia

Nope, whatever fits my needs. Toyota just happens to make allot of really good vehicles.

I have an old ford f250 for dirty work, my Jeep for wheeling, Cobalt as a commuter car and a 4Runner for the family.

The f250 is a 4X4 and would make a decent wheeler, but it is so big and ahs this strange I split axle, (I beam). The Toyota is a great smaller SUV. Good mileage for what it is and it can tow very good for it size, great in snow, and mild off roading. The Chevy was cheap and gets good mileage (lasts) and the Jeep, well it a Jeep. Solid axle front and rear, short wheel base, and not allot of sheet metal or glass. Great for my kind of wheeling.

I do not only have Toyota vehicles....I just prefer my Toyota vehicles to most other vehicles on the road.

Toyota has some BORING BORING cars aside from the 4runner and Tacoma which you can do recreational activities with, 4x4ing. I'm glad that Scion/Toyota are coming out with the FR-S. That should bring back some life back to Toyota.

I bought a new M3 sedan and that thing is a blast to drive. Toyota seriously needs to bring back a capable RWD car like the Supra back to its line up.

toyota scrapped the Supra project again, and to fill the gap Lexus dropped a bomb with the IS-F and the LFA... the FR-S should give us a more affordable RWD Toyota

I only have one vehicle now which is my 4runner but my four previous vehicles were also Toyotas and I have never had a problem with any of them. When something works I stick with it!

Bought my first Toyota pick up in '88 drove it for 14 years and just shy of 500k miles, with that kind of reliability how could I not buy another. I'm now on my 4th Toyota and will never buy anything but Toyota!

We def. consider ourselves Toyota Family. It all started when my parents where looking for reliable vehicles without heartache or headache. My friends used to tag me back in college as "Toyota Family", I didn't personally cared about tagging.

The very first one was Toyota Corolla 96 (if I'm not mistaken) followed by 96 Toyota Cressida (it turned out be a lemon, however, I enjoyed it driving without license has a teen).

We then moved to Maryland and for few years we had 92 honda civic 2door (it died on us lol, however, it did the job) & 94 nissan sentra.

Anyhow, we then had 2000 & 2001 Corollas (le & s). Currently we have 06 sienna le, 04 4runner sr5, & 01 honda crv.

We even convinced our brother in law from bmw to toyota.. how about that!! He started by getting my sister 92 camry. Impressive engine, until deer hit that car. They gave it to their friend after the accident & the damn car is still running!! Yes!! He then got 02 or 04 camry xle. Currently, they have 08 avalon xle & 08 highlander.

+1. It's really ridiculous that Toyota is the largest (and best) car manufacturer in the world but they don't have a sports car any more.

I've had 3 4Runners (1992, 2000, and my current 2008), 2 Supras (1985 and my current 1995), and my first car which was a 1974 Celica GT.
My parents both drive Toyotas (Prius and Avalon), and my Dad previously owned another Avalon and way before that, a 1973 Corolla (2-speed automatic!).
My brother has also owned 2 Supras...an MkIII (1987 I think) and an MkII (1984).
When I met my wife (in college), she had a 1983 Celica named "Beer Run".
