Not fully a Toyota family but in the last 16 years yes.
So here it is:
Me - present 2018 4Runner, past and present 2011 Sienna, yes we still have the Sienna - 2 drivers on 3 Toyotas
Her - present 2012 Rav4 past 2002 Highlander - traded the Highlander for a small down payment on 4Runner. The BOSS won the argument :fencing: "we can't have 4 cars with 2 drivers"
The 2002 Highlander got us hooked on Toyotas

Currently an 02 Tacoma, 2 97 4Runners, 98 4Runner, 08 FJ, 05 Tacoma, 14 4Runner, 97 Tacoma and a 70 Corona in the driveway. And enough parts to build 3 more laying around. I'd say we're a Toyota family.

Our family has been Toyota fans. We always end up back in a Toyota.

Growing up my parents and I had lots of Toyota’s and some of them we bought used.
- 80’s Tercel hatchback, 90 Toyota Camry, 91 Previa, 93 Corolla, 93 Tercel, 96 Camry, 98 Sienna, 99 4Runner, 01 Camry, 01 Corolla, 02 Sienna, 06 Yaris hb, 07 Lexus Rx350, 08 Camry, 09 Camry SE, 09 RAV4, 12 Sienna, 12 Yaris hb, 12 Lexus RX350, 13 Corolla (wife’s current), 15 Lexus GX, 16 Corolla, 16 Lexus RX350(dad’s current), 18 4Runner (current).

My mom is considering trading her 2017 Honda CRV for a 2019 Toyota RAV4 hybrid next year.

So if you look at my garage you'll find more of a Mercedes family, most of my friends, relatives and co workers thought I was nuts when I picked up the 4Runner. My sister does have a highlander.. Dad has a GL450 I have never really thought much of Toyota and would still never have a Toyota or Lexus sedan for example. But, I absolutely LOVE my 4Runner, more and more by the day it seems.

Me- 2014 4Runner and 1987 Buick Regal T I like driving the Runner but, the T would blow it's doors off in a drag race. Of course, the Runner is a lot better in snow, mud, bad roads, and anything off road.

Over the years, I have owned a few Toyotas:

1975 Toyota Corolla
1980 Toyota Corolla wagon
1981 Toyota Tercel
1985 Toyota Corolla GTS Twin-Cam (probably should have kept that one in the barn)
1989 Toyota 4WD SR5 pickup
2010 4R TE (current)

Of those, the only two I really enjoyed are the GTS and the 4Runner. And Toyotas only make up 5 of the 33 vehicles I have owned.

My Dad got me hooked on Yotas young. I don't know the chronology of our first three since I was pretty young, but in the 80s we had:

-a lovely light turd brown Celica
-a light blue Cressida wagon
-his pride and joy, a 1985(?) white Supra that he bought salvaged for $500 because it had a blown engine (which he rebuilt in the garage).

Oh, and the kicker to all of this is that this was Metro-Detroit in the 80s, which was about as hostile to imports as you can imagine. Pretty much every one of my family members works for auto industry in some capacity, so our Toyota's stood out like a sore thumb. My Grandpa (a Ford employee) famously refused to ride in the Cressida to my aunt's wedding, and when there were no other options, took the ride and didn't say a word the whole time because he was fuming. Also probably because he was impressed with how well put together it was compared to domestic shitbox wagons of the time.

My Mom recalls having guys in domestic pick-ups with UAW stickers shout expletives at her while me and my brother were in car seats in the back. Really classy, just like how my Grandpa bragged how they would put bags of bolts in door panels on the line "for fun" because they knew it would confuse customers. I wonder why the Big 3 got their asses handed to them again?

Anyway, divorce happened and my Dad bought:

-a beautiful burgundy 1994(?) 4Runner, complete with the pinstripes. We off-roaded that thing quite a bit in Michigan and Colorado, and he still regrets selling it. I made this meme from a photo in it's honor:

-2000's Lexus RX something or another. He loved that thing a lot, and installed a permanent plywood deck in the back of it since he used it for hauling because he didn't feel that owning a SUV like that meant he wasn't a man any more.

-Traded the RX for a white 2008 Lexus IS 350 manual after turning 50 and freaking out. Drove that like a bat out of hell, and took it back after realizing he was going to kill himself in it. The family was thankful.

-A 2008 Lexus RX, which is his current daily.

-My 97 4Runner was my first Yota. I was excited when he got to off-road it in Wyoming, and he was proud of what I built!

-My 2004 4Runner after my 97 met an untimely end.

and now my girlfriend has a 2010 Camry. I think we're on the road to continuing the tradition.

Does that count as a Toyota family!?
