Arm Rest Mod

Here are a couple of photos I've been meaning to post of my arm rest modification. The original owner was a NASA engineer and had access to (or friends in) the metal shop.

These arm rests (one on each side) rock! I can't imagine not having them. If there's some interest in measuring them and helping to come up with a template, I can do that.

functional but not for me doesnt look clean enough.
great idea for trail only rigs though it just need a arm pit sweat proof cover and its all set....lol

Correct. Lift the black seal and it pulls right off. I'll pull one off in the morning and post a pic of it removed.

Obviously the aluminum needs some fresh burgundy paint, but here are some more photos of the arm rest. Trust me, these are awesome for cruising with the windows down because it's flush with the top of the door. :boink:
