i was getting tired of getting my hands all black and grimey feeling after cleaning my windows with newspaper and water so i went to target and bought armor all's auto glass cleaner. it's working out really great. i love how there are no streaks and how the mirrors/windows look so clear.

I use coffee filters. No streaks and no smudges. "Sprayaway" glass cleaner is the best, hands down. It is ammonia free, allowing it to be used on plastic surfaces, including window tint films.

i agree with the spayaway. by far the best product out there. and it has been around a while. no streaks, completely safe for tint, and affordable. but hey...if you feel armor all products are worth your money, then go for it. i pesonally feel it sucks! try finding meguire's professional dressing. i buy it by the gallon, at about $35, and let me tell you! no water marks after it rains, and after using a very very strong degreaser on the rims and tires, it holds up over a month per application. like i said though, good luck finding it. i have yet to find it anywhere but a "friend" at a dealership nearby. but anyways...not to get off topic, glad to hear you found something you like to use.

where can i find sprayaway? is it dispensed from an aerosol can? we used some aerosol glass cleaner thing back in our college apt bathroom and it got the job done so i wonder if its the samething.

I think I picked it up at Home Depot. I use it on everything. I've even seen some local bars use it to clean their tables (which is against health code), but it works.

Try one of these, but don't use newspaper. Todays newspaper inks and paper are a lot cheaper than they used to be years ago. I tried it with some local papers and made a big mess.

I recommend STONERS Invisible glass- You can find at Pep Boys, SAM's Club, most auto part stores and some Wal-Marts. I get absolutely no streaking and it has excellent cleaning qualities.It is in an aresol can.

Yes, but those wipes have amonia in them. This Widex wipe is based on vinegar, and can also be used on interior vinyl.

I'm going to agree with General Lee. I picked up a can of the Stoners Invisible Glass and a few microfiber window towels. It took off dirt, water spots, bugs and left nothing but a crystal clear view.

I bought 2 cans of Stoner's at Walmart. I don't like this stuff at all - it doesn't seem to clean any better than plain old Windex and the propellant in it seems really weak.

Yesterday, my wife brought home some Sprayway window cleaner and my windows were dirty from a recent light rain, so I washed them last night. This morning I got in my car and thought whoa, these windows are CLEAN - it's the first time I've ever been struck by how clean a window was.

I use Griot's window cleaning wipes. We got the Sprayway at Costco.
