Just wondering...I have the money for the 3" all coil lift from toytec or the money for a grille guard and tail light guards. If I got the lift I wouldn't have the money for the tires I want and they wouldn't fit anyway...so which is better or more important you guys think, a lift with stock tires or armor?

Dude screw the so called armor its really just for looks, I have/had the armor and it causes more damage than it protects....it came with my truck and the PO managed to scrape the bush guard which then broke the front right indicator light and damaged the fender, if he had gotten the scrape without the bush guard then i would only have a scraped bumper also the rear light guards (removed them) had the rubber part worn down so it ended up damaging the paint...in short the armor stuff seems to protect some parts well and damage the hell out of every other part that is slightly out of the protection area.

If you really want some protection for the front (and better clearance), you want a unit from ARB, TJM, Shockworks and the likes. They are all metal and look like this:

depends on what you do with your rig. Unless your getting a steel bumper replacement like the one above (ARB, TJM, Shrockworks etc) then you'll be wasting your money. Lift it if it's flex and articulation your looking for (ie wheeling, crawlin, trails etc). Get the bumper replaced if you have trouble missing deer on the highway or are afraid you may hit a tree out in the hills, OR if you've had bad luck with hit n runs. Just a few suggestions
