At 1/4 tank of gas left how many gallons until full tank?

I dented my gas tank on the trail and now at 1/4 tank the point I always fill up it’s anywhere from 13.5-14 gallons to full tank.

I never measured before when I fill up how many gallons it was from 1/4 to full tank but now since I think I dented it want to know if it is worth it for me to pull the tank and work on the dent/replace.

14 gallons gallons at 1/4 tell me my full tank is 14/x =3/4 which means my full tank is 18.6 gallons but the known gas tank capacity on these things is 23 gallons which means reserve is 5 gallons?

I don’t think this is right so I was wondering how much gas people put at 1/4 tank.

Same. When my display shows zero miles to empty, and the needle is on the empty line, I have about 3 gallons left which matches what other have said here in the past which is a 20 gal to full for a 23 gallon tank. So I think you might be just a little off with your damage but not as far off as you think you are.
