ATRAC and DAC not working

I have a 2004 SR5 V6. I installed an exhaust around 6 years ago and I kicked off my VSC and engine lights due to the O2 sensor. Since then I had moved due to work and haven’t really hit any trails. I use to hit trails a lot at my old location. I few months ago I went on a trail and noticed that my DAC wasn’t working. I had it on 4lo and in 1st gear and it never kicked in. Later on that trail I got to a spot where I was on 3 wheels and I had nothing but spin and the ATRAC never kicked in. I never heard the clicking noise no nothing. The other day I went on a trail and was specifically testing both out and they didn’t work. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. If so how did you fix it? I’m trying to avoid dealership and do the work myself. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Do the easy stuff first, check your fuses, your switch wires, etc...if that isn't helping perhaps you might need to check for codes...or check under the hood at the master cylinder for all your connections actually being connected...?

Do you mean the VSC light is still on? Those systems are pretty fragile. A wheel sensor, brake fluid level sensor, and a whole host of other stuff has to be right or it goes into an error condition. See if you can have someone with a code scanner just clear any errors and see if that helps.

Ok I found the problem and fixed it. Due my exhaust my o2 sensors were reading bad. That causes the engine light and VSC/TRAC lights to go on. This disabled all my traction control, DAC and ATRAC. I plugged my Runner into a computer and my only codes were my o2 sensors. Since I don’t have no back cats on my exhaust anymore I installed some spark plug non foulers as an extender for my o2 sensors. So far so good, no engine light on and everything works. Tested it out the same day and day after and traction controls, DAC and ATRAC are working perfectly.

Hopefully this may help anyone that is having a similar problem.

2010 4runner.recently put a three inch lift.week later she went crazy on a tight curve engaging the abs systems.vsc indicator light came on.no other lights.I should have calibrated her immediately after the lift. Now I can't even do that due to vsc codes.DAC and A Trac are disabled.i can't complete the calibration procedure because during the step when you wait for the abs and vsc indicator lights to flash at a steady pace the vsc light flashes codes. Tried all procedures to clear codes.Disconnect battery, pulled ecu fuses and all the rest, did the relearn procedure with key sequence.would think it's more important to calibrate the 4runner than figuring out how to erase the vsc codes temporarily.vsc codes 39-left rear speed sensor debris.tested all speed sensors and abs cables for correct resistance and voltage.vsc light remains on and flashes the same code.actually prefer driving without the abs systems but I use them off road.intelligent knowledge would be much appreciated!!
