Well I have a set coming from toyotaonlineparts on tuesday if you are still curious shoot me a pm to remind me Ill let you know what comes with it. Dock washers are just thicker fender washers.

Ok, I'll probably take you up on that although I'm not expecting them to come with them. Probably just an error in the diagram.

They do not come with it, it was answered in the first post. Im pretty sure fender washers would work or even dock washer if you want thicker ones.
I went ahead and spent the extra 36$ for proper washers.

Well I just called them and he said they do not come with the washer. I would have returned my order and bought it there.

I called them earlier and asked as well. He said they do not come with them and that the diagram that shows them coming with them is an old one that is no longer applicable. He then proceeded to say "Wow, those are some expensive washers."

Maybe [MENTION=112743]nc-grayson[/MENTION] got a set that had been laying around and had the washers with it still or just got lucky?

I'll probably order mine from camelbak still and if they come with it for some reason great, if not I'll just go with the grade 8 washers most likely.

Who are you all speaking with at camelback? I always get a very helpful lady named Khristal or something. I got mine back in September when I posted and they were in the bag with each individual shock. They were included then, not sure why they aren't now.

Thanks man, It's hard finding a washer with those dimensions online it seems in a grade 8. I'll try looking at Lowes and home depot and see if they have anything.

The seat where the bushing sit is 1.5 that may be easier to find.

Cool, thanks. That may actually make it easier. 5/8 is pretty big for a fender washer too apparently, there's not a whole lot available in that inner diameter. Worst case I guess I just pony up and order the $9 washers from Toyota...

I got these as well and they didn't come with the middle washers. I just planned on making my own with some fender washers and a press with a punch and sockets...

I see it at mcmaster for under 4$ ea. Grade 8 painted.

I didn't even think to look there. I went by Lowes and they had 5/8 fender washers. They're 1 3/4" wide, and 1/8" thick. Thay aren't grade 8, but they are grade 5 hardened. I'm thinking that these should work just fine. They were $1.09 per pair, so $2 something for 4 of them.

Anyone see why these wouldn't work?

Sorry for digging this thread back up, but just clarifying that the center washer can be from a stock 4runner set up? And then just choose either the grade 8 washers for the top and bottom or the $40 set from toyota?

Wondering if a regular washer would cut it. My rough country lift used an entirely different setup and i don't have my old OEM washers. Thank you!

I wouldn't use a regular washer for the center. Use a stock size centering washer at minimum, or drill it out and use the bigger LC centering washer.

No, I never drilled out the upper mount. I check the both the top and bottom of the top mounts periodically and I'm not seeing any funky wear or movement up there that would indicate the hole is being wallowed out to any significant extent.

I decided a long time ago that if the top mounting hole is wallowed out when I pull these shocks I will either:

1. Drill it out to the recommended size for these shocks and go on with life, or

2. Buy some weld washers and weld them onto the upper mounts to restore the stock diameter/shape of the mounting hole.

If I was in your shoes I'd use a regular washer for the time being, drive it easy, and swap in centering washers ASAP.
