Hi all

Several years ago when I did a full taco tunes replacement, my install and everything came out like sh*t.
- ground noise from the speakers (mainly right side tweeter)
- hiss noise when turning the ignition
- amp control knob didn’t work.

I had the setup required about a year ago by another shop but no improvement. If anything, I had a new issue which was when I was on a month long ski trip - the factory head unit wouldn’t make any sound until about 5-7min of driving. As if it had to warm up.

Anyways I now have a rattle in the back hatch speaker that I want to get fixed so I’m figuring it’s time to make the plunge again.

Current setup
- Audison prima 10in
- 6.5 image dynamic component speakers
- taco tunes 5 channel 1000watt amp
-taco tunes recurve eq

I’m planning on ripping all the taco tunes out and starting over.

I’d love to hear thoughts on recommended amp setup to replace this junk with. I’ve been looking at 5 channel from JL and Audison with built in DSP but I’m wondering if a 5 channel would work or if it would be better to run dual amp setup.

Thanks for some thoughts and feedback
