audio upgrade....confused

got the brackets and a new dash trim piece in with a working clock. Got back from the fair late last night and crashed, and installed this morning.

fixed everything, and while I was at it, replaced the non-working climate control bulbs. No sense in tearing everything apart twice.

Glad you got it fixed and installed right!

There are so many threads on this topic the contemporary "measure twice cut once" now translates to research before wreck

Theres just issues.

I didnt get good install instructions. I should have done more research on it, so that was my mess-up.

It was, in essence, a 150 dollar screw-up.

If those climate bulbs were out, did you check the bulbs behind the ECT/ RR DEF / RR window and the Hazard button bulb? Do it right once right? Many people don't even know they light up.

I didnt know they light up. Well crap. I was happy that I could see my climate control and my shifter at night.

I'm assuming those are 74's as well?

We are learn at least it was ONLY 150.00 and not another 0 or 00 :)

Hows it sound now? :)

Sounds better, but I need bass now. Guess its time to add an amp and a sub at some point.

And I learned those lessons with my ex about 150 vs 1500. When he screwed up playing with my diesel truck, parts were EXPENSIVE!

I'm divorced and tend to over multitask and only read that out of my corner of the eye and laughed (re-read and still laughed, as just spent 3 hours helping my dad work on HIS DIESEL). :)

No T1 3mm Neowedge x3 , including hazard button Like these

If you're ordering them be sure to put a check mark in the T1 box and a check mark in the appropriate color box

Ok, I think I bought some of those when I did my LED order. I couldn't fit the 74 LED's that I ordered in where the stock bulbs would go though so I went and bought regular 74 bulbs to install.

#74 are a regular wedge bulb. They go in the glove compartment, shifter, keyring. The neo wedge bulb is completely different

I know this. I was talking about the 74 LED wedge bulbs I bought that would not fit. Thats why I went and bought new 74 regular wedge bulbs for the shifter and the climate controls.
