Hey everyone,

With the first GB a success and the dark season approaching, it is time for another Aurora light GB!!

The original GB can be found here - it has a number of good informational posts, so feel free to browse through it if you're not sure about the lights, price, etc.

A new product - Evolve RGB Lights - has been added to the GB list. More info in the post here.

The GB is fairly simple - need at least 10 folks to participate, then it is on.

You have until August 3rd to send me your requests and payments (via DM). 1.5 weeks processing on their end and then DHL express - should be stateside, at most, 3 weeks after I place an order on the 3rd. Then, however long it takes to get to you! (Dates are approximate)

If you need smaller lights to be flush-mounted - add extra $2.
Basic wiring (switch/relay/Deutsch connector) is additional $9.

Pricing - see attached. A touch more expensive than last time, It is very competitive. If there is something you see on their website, and it is not on the price list, please DM me.

Shipping - price on the spreadsheet is for the item to get to me (ZIP 60629). The weight indicated is per item - that's what I'll be calculating how much it'll cost me to ship to you (it is best approximation on what they have given me). Shipping will be either via USPS/UPS (unless requested otherwise).

Warranty - 2 year warranty for manufacturing defects. They claim to have 1% fail rate, which is pretty good. If the light stops working within 2 years under proper use, MOST LIKELY it will not need to be shipped to China. Whatever happens I will do my best to make sure you are taken care of by dealing with the manufacturer myself.

Payment - payment with PayPal upfront (refunds will be issued only if there are less than 10 participants)

I can find it on their website, but not on the price list that I have. I have messaged my contact to see what the price would be, but I'd imagine it to be similar to their dual row bar.

You wouldn’t by chance know if the single row 40” will fit the Ecotechne roof rack? Just thought I’d ask.

They're virtually the same as Rigid bars. So if Rigid would fit, this one should too. I can get you more detailed measurements, if that'd help?

Evolve Lights

One of the new products that Aurora is releasing is Evolve RGB lights. These are very similar in form and fuction to the Rigid Adapt line of lights.

From what I've been told, these are not yet compatible with a GPS module. The first batch of these light is coming out at the end of July, right in time for our GB order.

Prices have been added to the bottom of the price list. Pictures for reference below. I'll work on posting a video of these lights in action soon.

I had another forum member ask me about how I mounted the Aurora 40" light to a Gobi no-rise rack.

When I got my no-rise I ordered it with the 40" light bar setup, however the light brackets Gobi gives you are the same ones they use for the raised "eyebrow" front bar so I had to modify them. The Aurora mounts are are also too high. Check out my mini how-to HERE that shows you how I modified both the Gobi bracket and the Aurora bracket. I ran the positive and negative wires down the gap on the driver's side of the windshield and then under the "cowl" at the base of the windshield. If you want to see more pictures of how I ran the wires LMK.
