AURORA LED Lights GB Round 2 **CLOSED**

Lights came today first thing in the morning :clap2:

All of them tested functioning, orders are separated and mostly packaged up. Expect to see ship notifications from PayPal later tonight and tomorrow.

I like the value added service of testing them before shipping them to us and saving us from having to deal with RMAs ourselves. Much appreciated!

Nothing worse than receiving an item you've been waiting for and it doesn't work. I try to prevent that :cool:
 
Everything is dropped off at UPS - everyone should have their lights by the weekend.

Let me know when you get them, and if you can, post some pictures of your installs!

Thanks for being an honest and genuine guy. FYI, he refunded me $13 for shipping when he originally quoted me for more. And also got the shipping confirmation!
 
Got my lights and harnesses delivered this morning. Everything checks out. 2nd time working with diodia and I continue to be impressed! I was worried about getting the right splitter harness as the one I wanted wasn't on the order list and there are two versions. I sent him a link of one that was sold elsewhere and he was able to order me the exact one. Thank you very much!

got my evolve 20"

playing around with it, very nice light for the price.

few issues i have

it came with relay harness. with on/off switch, and the evolve switch panel.

whenever i turn on/off switch on, the evolve light goes to full on.

also think this relay is wired with the on/off switch.. being HOT to power. meaning i got the full current of the light running through it when on. needs more testing.

but for this price.. i got an awesome light! 145w or so at full on. thats crazy good for a 20" bar.

When I was trying it out, it seemed that the light came on to whatever setting it was at shutting off. I might be wrong, though.

The switch does control the whole current, almost felt like a secondary switch, only meant to control the relays.

Let me know if you come across any other quirks or issues - will be happy to pass it on to Aurora. Thanks for participating!! Would love to see some pictures once installed :whistle:
 
got my light and harness over the weekend. Everything looks good and packaging looked good.

hey [MENTION=222498]Tuc4R[/MENTION] where you able to get your bar mounted to your rack? i'm running into some issues. The mounting brackets are just a bit to large for the mounting points. Was wondering how you got yours to fit.

Any chance you could post a few pics of your mounting to the rack?

It was a tight fit, but mine fit just perfect in the light bar trough as I call it. I added the mounting brackets, then it just sat in the trough. I will take some pictures tonight.

unfortunately my rack must have some slight variation. My mounting points don't as close to the edge. Love the Echotechne rack look but sometimes the variations drive me nuts.
 
Closing the GB

Hey everyone,

Seems that everyone has received the lights and I have not heard any issues come up - which is awesome!!! :clap2::clap2::clap2:

The GB is now closed. Any future GBs will be started from this GB.
