Autbond's '06 SE Build Thread

Yea, I really think it was more the 20" wheels with the 33x12.50's, they were pretty heavy. The bumper knocked it down a bit also.

Maybe I should have said 5th Gen Trail. Those look sick when their lifted.

Congrats on getting in to the Bridge. HighPointe is really nice.

I don't know yet. I think I want to do another 4th gen, if I get another 4R within the next year or so. I am also considering an 07 or so Tahoe Z71, just for the extra interior room. I probably would not take the Tahoe off-road very often, if at all. I really am not sure what I am going to do, so I am waiting at least until the summer to make a decision. I obviously made too quick of a decision getting rid of the 4R if I am wanting something else already.

I got rid of it mainly because I had started legitimately being targeted by a few police officers in Auburn. I do admit it was my fault, at first, because I continually got tint tickets and would strip the windows and then go get them re-tinted. But even after I got legal tint put on they would come up to my truck if they saw it out anywhere. I just realized that it was time to give up and sell the truck. I will build one again someday, I am sure of that. Whether it is in 4 months or 4 years. I really enjoyed having a 4R and I recommend them to people all the time.

cool, well if your thinkin tahoe, i think runners get better mpg's then them and with gas prices going up id get the one with better mpg. and that sucks about the whole cop situation. just dont get police lights or tint as dark on the next one haha.

Clemson: thanks and yea ive seen it and its pretty cool, i appealed it though so ill see what happens. maybe ill get in but if not im still happy with the bridge

You are so lucky! that's the best 4Runner i've seen ever!
Please tell me if I can go get the 305/50R/20 Nitto Terra Grappler plus XD Rockstar 775 for my 07 4Runner? I am going to have the uplift surgery(3" front and 1.5" rear) done this week, just worry that the width 305 will touch the upper arm when turn extreme, maybe you can advise some tips for the offset.....................thank-you!

Don't know if he's likely to respond, he sold it a while back.

He had a lot of rubbing but didn't rub the A-arms.

hahaha i so took that picture. His sister is one of my best friends and while she was inside refilling her drink, he pulled up. i took the pic on her phone and mine, just to have a current one! Fun to see it ended up here!
 
Small small world! Funny how it went from an Auburn tag to a Bama tag. Also terrible that you were being targeted by the cops, it's unfortunate yet reality. nice pic!

yea it was really cool to read and see him so much on T4R and then see the monster itself. It really is a beast in every aspect of the word.

hahaha naw, we have known each other since first grade tho! we best buds and content with that:) but anywaysss! A guy in my grade at another school in the area is who bought it, i'm quite jealous...

Do you know if he bought it from Autbond or bought it from the guy who bought it from him? I used to see it driving around down by Auburn every now and then a few months ago
